Any Other Way

Tell me what is there to talk about, your life is gone in many ways.
Tell me what is there staked for you, I bet your counting down the days. What a shame.
Remember there one thing you always told us, you made it crystal clear to see.
You married young and now you'll pay for this. Too bad we're picking up the fee.
I've got your name and it will go on like this. I've got your face and some of Mom around my chin. A legacy three times that will never run away, I can't believe you think that this is the only way. Tell me what is there to talk about, your life seems its going just one way. Mystery of all the things that made you who you are, Dont look now because you've always looked away.
I've got your name and it will go on like this. I've got Mom's face and your half crooked grin.
A legacy three times who will no longer run to you, tell me now if this is what you're supposed to do. Here you are all alone inside your secrets, you cannot rest and you cannot get away.
But you continue on like it happens everyday, now its me that can't find the words to say.
What is there left to talk about? Your life has up and run away. But I'm not left at stake, he's not left at stake, were not left at stake for you to forsake. I've got your name. It will go on like this. We've got your face. All of Mom around our chins and our legacy will go on no matter where you go, who you are or what you do.

I'm your son and what else is there for me to do?
